HarperCollins — 200th Anniversary

Led HarperCollins's bicentennial brand campaign end to end: the flagship history exhibit at the publisher's New York headquarters and the full digital experience at 200.hc.com. Authored 120-page anniversary "StoryBook" across five messaging pillars — Author Partnership, Global Growth & Reach, Publishing Innovation, Social & Cultural Impact, and Employee Passion — and ran global StoryARC sessions with HarperCollins leadership in New York, Nashville, San Francisco, London, and Remote (India and Australia).

Case Studies

As Director of Brand & Content Strategy at WillowTree — and, following its acquisition, Director, Global Brand & Creative Studio at TELUS Digital — I lead the creative team that turns client engagements into published articles, case studies, and video content: inclusive of the research, strategy, copywriting, photography/video, and UX design and web development behind each story. The examples below span both organizations.

Dairy Queen

Led the creative team behind this case study on Dairy Queen's multi-year digital overhaul — a rebuild of mobile ordering, DairyQueen.com, and the brand's marketing technology. I shaped the narrative and visual storytelling that framed the results: 2.1M new loyalty members, plus measurable lifts in order conversion and click-through. A flagship example of turning a complex commerce engagement into a clear, on-brand story.

iZotope

Wrote and art-directed the case study on iZotope's Adobe-powered e-commerce transformation — a rebuilt storefront, checkout, content, and personalization engine for the audio-software brand. My role was making the performance story legible and compelling: +37% transactions, +17% sales, and +11% conversion rate year-over-year within a quarter of launch.

Brightline

Directed the storytelling and design for this case study on Brightline, the high-speed rail brand's end-to-end digital experience across web, native apps, and station kiosks. I distilled a sprawling, multi-discipline engagement into a single clear narrative anchored by its performance: 4x bookings growth, 70% faster in-app booking, and a 618% jump in organic traffic.

Zumba

Produced the case study behind Zumba's first direct-to-consumer platform — the research, pricing strategy, and product design that carried a licensing-and-DVD business into subscription fitness. I led the creative that packaged the launch story: 400K+ downloads in four months and a #1 "Best New Subscription" award.

Virginia Lottery

Led the creative team on this case study for the Virginia Lottery's mobile-first, omnichannel gaming experience. I shaped how the story balanced commercial performance with responsible-gaming design: $5M+ in first-week sales, 102K players in the opening week, and 7x higher retention than the web experience.

Pepsi

Created the case-study content for Pepsi's Super Bowl LVI Halftime companion experience — a real-time second screen for the year's biggest cultural moment. I directed the narrative and visuals that captured the scale: 500M QR-coded packages, 103M viewers, and a "Brand Bowl MVP" crown.

Video & Content Franchises

“2 Weeks To Better” - Rapid-Prototyping Docuseries

Concepted and produced a docuseries following cross-functional teams as they design, build, and test a real digital product improvement in two weeks. Built as top-of-funnel prestige content engineered to pull viewers toward high-intent conversion pages.

“AI Dialogues” - GenAI Thought-Leadership Franchise

A multi-format content franchise I led at WillowTree that translated the Data & AI practice's expertise into executive-ready thought leadership: a signature report (Navigating the Generative AI Landscape: 10 Questions Informed Executives Are Asking) and the companion "AI Dialogues" video series. I directed the creative and production that made a fast-moving, highly technical subject clear and compelling for a C-suite audience.

"Room for Growth" — Growth-Marketing Podcast

A podcast I created and produced at WillowTree — candid conversations with senior marketing and brand leaders on growth, e-commerce, customer acquisition, and lifecycle strategy. Guests included executives from Penguin Random House, Amazon Music, White Castle, GoodRx, Braze, and SparkToro, reaching an audience that ranged from Fortune 500 CMOs to early-career practitioners across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Brand & Design Systems

Here are some identity and design systems I've created and led — the frameworks that keep work consistent across teams, digital channels, and physical spaces. Design systems lead to the creation and evolution of brand guidelines.

WillowTree Brand Book

The comprehensive brand and design system for WillowTree, a TELUS Digital Company — a 58-page “field guide” spanning logo, color, typography, graphic devices, photography, and videography, plus a full editorial voice system (brand characteristics, tone of voice, content standards) that keeps a distributed team on-brand across every channel.

TELUS Digital — Brand overhaul

Following WillowTree's acquisition, I led the team that built the TELUS Digital brand from the ground up — now a living system managed and evolved section by section in a central DAM (Bynder). The largest-scale brand build of my career, and the current chapter of this work.

StoryARC — Trademarked Storytelling Methodology

Created StoryARC, a methodology adapting classic story structure to brand and corporate narrative. Facilitated hundreds of global sessions, from entry-level teams to C-suite.
